The funny part about making the cookies was Jordyn's reaction to the mixer. Every time I turned it on she would come running up to me, put her arms around my leg, and then cry until I turned it off. Funny girl! Maybe she doesn't like to cook either? Poor Jason, he'll never get a home cooked meal for the rest of his life.

I am not a baker!
Jason is always trying to get me to cook more often. I think this is proof that baking is not a talent of mine. I made these cookies today. I'm not sure if I missed an ingredient or what, but they do not taste good. They came out flat and very brown, even though I only cooked them for 9 minutes when the recipe calls for 12-15 minutes. If anyone has a fail proof recipe for chocolate chip cookies I'd love to give it a try. My goal is to make edible cookies, no matter how long it takes!

Your blog is so cute! Congrats on buying a house, and on upcoming baby #2, both are so fun!
My very favorite cookie recipe ever is the one on the back of the Nestle semi sweet chocolate chip bag. Also, they go flat if there isn't enough flour in them and using cold butter is supposed to make them better too. :)
Congrats on your new house and expecting a new baby! Lots of fun changes coming up for you guys. :) Blogging can be pretty fun--and it's a fun way to keep up with family and friends. Enjoy!
Oh, and I have a blog too if you're interested in reading. birnelfam.blogspot.com
