Dear Jaymie

We heard that you were bored at work so here are some pictures to let you know all about the things we've been doing.
Kinslee came to visit us. We had so much fun playing doctor's office and making HUGE messes. (Note the evil face.)
If we cry to much we have to sit in front of the fridge....by the way WE DO NOT want it to snow.

Please ignore the blurry kid in the dryer....just look at the cute smile of Miss Tessa.

Yeah, then she realized she was busted...and had to get out.
If you need something to do, come and play with us. We will keep you busy.
Love, Jordyn and Tessa

But Not Today

Some days are so hard. Some days I don't want to get out of bed. Some days I wish I was working or doing something better with my time. But not today....

Every morning I blog hop. It's fun to see what others have posted. I love seeing how their lives are going. Sometimes wishing I was in their shoes. But not today....

My friend Ruth posted links to two different blogs. One is about a family who didn't loose their baby, and the Other is about a family who did. I've been sitting here reading...crying...watching my girls...and being grateful for the life I have.

Jason is my strength, support, and my best friend. He keeps me grounded. Pushes me and helps me be a better person. Jordyn makes me laugh. Her little words lift me when I'm down and keep me going everyday. Tessa is my sweetheart. She loves deeply and purely. She finds joy in small baby steps. Her kisses keep me warm.

I would be lost without my family. I'm grateful they are mine, not just now...but FOREVER!

A Day in the Life

In the morning we usually look like this. Sometime around eleven we get out of the tub and get dressed. That's when we look like this.

Some of us want to play...and some of us don't.We avoid this.We eat books.
We read books.
We get stuck.
We get caught.
We try and look innocent.
Some of us get naps.
Some of us don't.

And by the end of the day, we usually fall asleep watching Winnie the Pooh.

THE END

Bad Mood

This morning I was dreaming about running water. As I started to open my eyes I could see Jordyn in the bathroom. She was at the sink...thus the running water. I walked in there and had to walk right back out. You know, turn around and count to 10 before you beat your kid. After composing myself I went back into the bathroom to find the garbage can full of water, Jordyn's pink potty full of water, the rugs full of water, the floor full of water, toilet paper blobs all over the floor and Jordyn pant-less. She said she had gone potty and she was just washing her hand. Yeah, right. Anyway, that was enough to set me off for the day. After that I was on the phone with Comcast and then T-Mobile trying to fix my phones. Everybody knows what that is like... Jordyn got in the crackers and made a HUGE mess all over the couch. By noon, nobody was dressed, my house was a disaster zone, Jason wasn't answering his phone, the girls were crying and I wanted to go back to bed.

After sulking...for like three hours....I got up, put on a bra and got to work. So, now it's nine and I'm waiting for the girls to fall asleep so I can finish cleaning. Today I've rearranged the girls room, dusted everywhere...even some of the base boards, vacuumed, cleaned up the desk, changed the sheets, and washed some clothes. In a minute I'm going to finish up by cleaning the bathroom, doing the dishes, and cleaning the floors. I LOVE having a clean house. Oh...and after all that...I'm going to take a bath and finish the book Katy loaned to me like three months ago. I have about 15 pages left.

Dear Nonie,

Hi Nonie! (and everyone else too) Jordyn wanted to color you a picture, but I thought this would be better. Hopefully the sound isn't too bad. I couldn't get it to work right...but I guess you get the point. Hope you're having fun at school. We miss you!

Love You Lots!
