Finding eggs!

Well, the weekend has come and gone. Saturday was the Easter party at "Grandpa Great's" house. (Great Grandpa Halladay) We had a BBQ and then a little egg hunt in the orchard. Grandpa had 13 grand kids and 21 great-grand kids there. That's almost everyone.

"Cheese!"

Uncle Jesse and Jordyn getting eggs from a tree.
Sunday morning before church we had our own little egg hunt at our house. Plus, the Easter bunny came! How exciting. Jordyn was so fun to watch, running around finding eggs. She loved the paper grass in her bucket. So did Daddy...

Jordyn and Tessa took their first bath together. Daddy did it. I don't think I'm brave enough yet to do that. I can hardly get Jordyn in and out without getting all wet.
This morning we picked up Uncle Steve's girlfriend, Megan, from the airport and then we went over to Jason's work to have lunch with him. The next three days are going to be super long for Jason. It's the last three days of tax season. (We love you honey! And we'll see you on Thursday.)
.
When we came home I changed Jordyn into play clothes and let her play in the front yard for a while. She had fun playing, but takes after her mom and wouldn't play in the dirt. She didn't like to touch the sidewalk chalk that the Easter Bunny brought her, but she loved the sand toys.

Last of all is Tessa. She really does exist even if I don't show many pictures of her. She is such a good baby. She is sleeping from around 10 until 7 almost every night. She is starting to recognize people. She is learning to stand on our laps. She loves blankies. She watches Jordyn play and she laughs whenever Jordyn cries...it's pretty fun.

Oh, I forgot to say that on Sunday night we had another egg hunt at Grandma Norah's house. Jordyn had fun with Hayden and Jake finding eggs! We also all got our own colored glassed. I have a few pictures, but none of them turned out...

Sounds like it was a good Easter! Your hubby is brave. Mine has only given Aliya a bath once, let alone both at the same time. :)

I don't blamer her, I hate the feel of sidewalk chalk too.

We used to do an Easter egg hunt like that on my Grandpa's farm. Now it's just at his house and my aunt Amy's (who lives next door). It's so fun to have a bazillion relatives there huh!
