A Mouse In My House

Jason and I went to bed last night (Tuesday) at around midnight. Jason gets up around seven each morning so he can be out the door at 7:30, to get to school for his 9:00 class at the University of Utah (after that he goes to work....ALL DAY....and come home late). So, this morning (Wednesday) he came in the bedroom and said that we had a mouse during the night. You see, I had made cupcakes for my Spanish class. (They had different colored frosting. My presentation was about Racism. Get it? Just because they're a different color on the outside doesn't mean they're not the same on the inside.) My sister Julie watched the girls for me while I went to school and she told me Jordyn had one for dessert...and LOVED it! Well, that night I left them out on the counter.
Surprisingly, that little mouse moved the rug out of the way...and pushed a chair up to the counter. It was a messy little mouse because there were crumbs on the floor.Plus, this mouse's mother never taught it to clean up its garbage. I wish I had a picture of the mouse asleep in her bed...with pink frosting from ear to ear. Instead I have this one. You can't see the frosting very well because it's practically the same color as her skin. But let me tell you, IT'S THERE! Silly little mouse!

Plus, Jordyn came up with a new recipe all on her own today. I got some lunchables at Walmart the other day. The girls love them and they're so quick and easy. The ones I bought had oreo cookies in them. Well, I was visiting with my sister Jaymie, I look over and she was eating this....

GROSS! The best part, to me, is that she broke her cookie apart. I think Jason taught her that. I guess Oreo, frosting, meat, cheese, and crackers must taste really great together.

When I first saw the title I was freaking out for you but I'm glad it was just Jordyn. That is pretty hilarious.

Jordyn ha ha ha ha

I remember sneaking into the downstairs freezer at my grandparents to snitch some ice cream. So naughty! And so fun!
