What a busy, fun day! Easter this year was so exciting for the girls because they both knew what was going on. We started the morning with an egg hunt in our TV room and baskets filled with little prizes for the girls. They loved it!
Jason made egg shaped/colored pancakes for breakfast. They turned out so cute!We took a quick picture before church. I kept reminding Jordyn that Jesus is more important than the Easter Bunny. She was cute. She understood. She loves primary. After church we headed up to the Papa T's and Gammy's for another egg hunt and family pictures. When we got home the girls found a surprise on the porch with hidden eggs in the yard. They were so excited. (Thanks surprise Easter Bunny...whoever you are!)Our final stop of the day was Grandma Sue Sue's and Grandpa Day's. Julie put together an awesome egg hunt in the front yard. It was fun!
The day was busy and crazy and wonderful. I love Easter. It's great taking time to think about the Savior and His resurrection. I'm very grateful for Him, for my family, for spring, new chances and changes.
Happy Easter!

Woooow lucky girls! That's a lot of easter eggs :) Girls look so cute in their dresses!
So cute! I can't believe those easter egg pancakes--I tried recently to make heart shaped pancakes or stars but it took a LOT of imagination from the kids to figure out what they were. These are awesome. I love the easter dresses and particularly the bunny glasses.
