Yep...I'm Sick

I hate throw up. I avoid it at all costs. Even if it means I'm sick longer. Well, Sunday night, really Monday morning, I ended up in the bathroom. YUCK! (Enough said.) Luckily Jason missed work today and my family was able to help out when Jason had to go to the tax lab. Thanks Everyone!

So, I wanted to share a little story about Jordyn. The other day she was being so naughty! It was about 11:30 and I decided to make her some lunch so I could send her to an early nap. Before I started I said, "Jordyn, why don't you go watch TV while I make some Macaroni and Cheese." She looked right at me and said/yelled, "No! You go sit down! You watch TV...Me make Mac and Cheese." Needless to say she did not get lunch. I sent her right to her nap and she slept for four hours! Tired girl.

Why?

Tell me why I wanted Tessa to move? This morning I took Jason to the bus stop...really early. When I came back I tried hard to go back to sleep, but I couldn't. I'm wondering if I'm coming down with something...but anyway, when the girls woke up I turned on my favorite baby-sitter (the TV) and decided to take a bath. When I got out I found Tessa here. Of course this picture was taken AFTER the child was removed.

I put the blanket in the trash. It was soaked. Her pajamas were soaked....and YES! She was chewing dog food. I've been trying hard to love Trigger. I mean, he's fine, I'm just not really a dog person. You know, a have in your house, sleep in your bed, dog person. This reminds me why. (Oh, and Trigger DOES NOT sleep in our bed....in case you were worried.)

Deals...Part 2

Last night we went to the grocery store. I'm so sad that Albertson's is closing...but the one on 1600 North in Orem told me that they will be open until after the holidays. So, awhile ago, I talked about my new love for coupons HERE. The reason I decided to coupon was to build up my food supply...but I'm learning how to save lots of money.

Here's my list from Albertson's last night.

I spent $48.44. I saved $18.99 on the Turkey (If you spent over $25 you got the Turkey for $0.38 a pound. I don't know if that's a great deal....it's seemed great to me.) I got the popcorn for $0.50 a box. I was picking up the Baby Wipes for someone else and they were $5.50. I got a $5.00 coupon (catalina) to use on my next purchase. SOOOO I had a grand savings of $106.42!!

I learned how to do this from Cassie. She's my "friend" on facebook and also I went to school with her. (Thanks Cassie!) I'm happy to show anyone what I do. Just let me know. I'm still learning. It takes LOTS of time! I'm sure I'll keep getting faster...it just takes time.

Oh, I almost forgot. I got a rain check. It you buy one Sara Lee pie for $6.50ish you get another pie and two Bryers Ice Creams for free! That sale ends today (11-17-09), and they are out of Pies, but if you go down there and ask you can get a rain check too. OH, AND! There's not a limit, I got two rain checks...that means 4 pies and 4 ice creams. Plus, if you call me I'll tell you where you can find a Sara Lee coupon that will save you $0.75.

We're Back

So, I know I skipped the rest of the days. I was just so tired each night. Disney Land is so much fun. It really is magical there. I want to go back...except I don't want to drive that far.

It was so fun to watch the girls. Especially Jordyn! She really loved meeting (most) of the characters. She loved the rides. Tessa loved the rides too. She would wave her hands in the air and giggle and laugh. So fun! I don't want to forget...it was so fun!

Well, there you have it! So much fun! I'm glad we could go...we probably won't be able to go again for a long time. But, hopefully sooner than later!

Day 1

Holy Cow! What a day! I feel like I could sleep forever...and it's only 7:15 here. DUH! We did so many things today. Fun!

Here the morning started with us waiting for the bus. Jordyn loved the bus. She was singing and laughing the entire time.

We went on lots of rides today. A few of the favorites were the carousel, dumbo, and peter pan.

Because Jaymie and Adam were with us Jason and I got to go on some rides too. Here we are waiting for them to come back from Indian Jones so we could go.

We waited in line for an hour to see the princesses. If you want to see them, you stand in line forever, then you get to meet a random three. We were lucky that we met three out of four of our favorites.

Then we moved on to Mickey Mouse and his friends. Tessa was asleep for this part. Jordyn loved it!


Jaymie and I decided to leave early while Jason and Adam stayed to go on more rides. As we were leaving we saw the best, practically perfect, person of all.

Jordyn was speechless. How can you top Mary Poppins?

So Far

We started out on Tuesday morning bright and early. We gave the girls new blankets for the car trip. Jordyn was so excited! Tessa, well, she didn't care that much. Here we are driving....AND driving....AND driving!

Tuesday afternoon Jason had an appointment for work. The girls and I went to my friend Ashlee's house. I'm so glad that she lives in St. George because I don't know what I would have done. We played at her house, and a park, and had frozen yogurt. Yum!

Tuesday night we drove to Las Vegas and stayed with Jason's Uncle Tom and his family. They had dinner ready for us when we got there. Jordyn kept asking when we were getting to "Abbie's" house...it's really Tabi. She was so excited! The kids all played and Jason and I got to watch The Biggest Looser. (I was sad that I might have to miss it....but NOPE! Oh, and... GOODBYE TRACEY!)

Anyway, in the morning Jordyn woke up like this.

Can you tell that her eye is all puffy? As the day went on it got worse and worse. Her face got all splotchy and puffy. I was super worried. We ended up calling the doctor. The nurse told us to get some Benedryl and then wait for an hour. if it didn't change we needed to go to an InstaCare. I wish I would have taken a picture of the "bad face" because it was scary. Poor Jordyn. After a quick stop to Target we came back to the Hotel and Jason and Adam gave Jordyn a blessing. (I'm grateful for worthy priesthood holders.) So far everything is looking good!

Okay...go back...after we left Las Vegas we got to drive some more.

When we finally made it to our Hotel we were so excited. Jaymie and Adam were waiting for us and Jordyn was super excited to see them. (They had an announcement for us.)

Okay...after Target, and the blessing, we went to Red Robin to eat. Yum! I love their milkshakes. Jason loves their fries. Jordyn loves Sprite.

ENGAGED!

Congrats you two love birds! As far as I know the big day is April 9th.

Tonight we are hanging at the Hotel. We had bought some toys for the girls in Utah and we gave them to them tonight.

We're having lots of fun. Jordyn gets whiny somethings, and Tessa is teething...but that's normal at our house.
